Tiny Habits

I am a certified Tiny Habits coach.  Tiny habits are a behavior change method created by BJ Fogg, a behavioral scientist, and Stanford University professor. The method is based on the idea that small, incremental changes are more likely to be successful than large, sweeping changes.

To create a Tiny Habit, you start with a very small action that you can do easily and consistently. For example, you might start by flossing one tooth every day. Once you have established this habit, you can gradually increase the difficulty of the action. For example, you might start flossing two teeth every day, and then three teeth every day.

The Tiny Habits method is based on the following principles:

  • Make it obvious. The action you want to take should be easy to remember and do. For example, if you want to start flossing your teeth, you might put a floss dispenser next to your toothbrush.
  • Make it attractive. The action you want to take should be something that you enjoy doing. For example, if you want to start exercising, you might find an activity that you find fun, such as dancing or playing tennis.
  • Make it easy. The action you want to take should be something that you can do with very little effort. For example, if you want to start writing in a journal, you might keep a journal by your bed and write for just one minute before you go to sleep.
  • Make it rewarding. The action you want to take should be something that gives you a sense of accomplishment. For example, if you want to start saving money, you might put a dollar in a jar every time you do something that you’ve been putting off, such as cleaning your closet or decluttering your desk.

The Tiny Habits method has been shown to be effective in helping people to change their behavior. In one study, people who used the Tiny Habits method were more likely to stick to their new habits than people who used other methods.

If you’re looking to make a change in your life, the Tiny Habits method may be a good option for you. It’s a simple, effective way to create lasting change.

I will be coaching you on how to master the tools which will increase your ability to add a positive impact on your career and personal life.
